Branding

Monteseel is a small village near Durban in South Africa. We were recommended to them by a common connection, and commissioned to create their brand identity.

We started off by looking at the type of area Monteseel lies in. Since this was a plumbing company based in Africa, we were quite keen on giving the branding an African feel.


It turns out Monteseel is part of an area called the “Thousand Hills”. We thought it would be a good idea to use the concept of hills to create the logo. We also incorporated to this logo what is closest to the idea of plumbing, pipes. The result is below.
