GlobalMaxer Interface Design
One of our first clients, Oban Multilingual, were launching a new product and commissionned DEXthis to work on this new exciting project. The first phase consisted of designing an interface for the overall product, which included creating a look and feel and functionality for the basic screens of the online software.

The idea of the GlobalMaxer is to test different cultural elements of a website to determine which combination works best. It is a multilingual optimization tool which allows the client to eventually increase traffic on their site by improving the way their website comes across visually and contextually to the user.
The biggest challenge in this project was to fully grasp the various functionalities required on the site, and to translate them visually as an interface. We prioritized usability and consistency, in an attempt to provide a simple and efficient interaction for the user. We put an emphasis on creating a good navigation system by providing the user with a colour-coded menu, a breadcrumbs trail and step-by-step procedural screens with feeback.

Cultural Multivariate Website
Once the GlobalMaxer graphical interface had been created, Oban decided to commission DEXthis to design the website which would support GlobalMaxer as a product.

The website had to be somewhat different from the product whilst staying in a similar graphical style. Since its purpose was to sell the GlobalMaxer, it needed a commercial feel while also providing valuable information about the product.
The theme was constructed using Wordpress, and we were in charge of designing and coding in X-HTML the various pages and plugins for the site.
